Reggio Influenced Group of Western Massachusetts

The Reggio Influenced Group of Western Massachusetts (RIG-WM) is a group of professional educators that come together for the purpose of connecting, networking, and exploring the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy. 

We focus on the use of pedagogical documentation as a practice that can inform our work across multiple settings with children, families, colleagues, and ourselves.

Our intention is to provide a venue for educators to engage in documentation as a group practice, because the power of documentation is in the sharing and opening of possible interpretations. We support each other to take risks (big and small), try new things, and continue to be in dialogue with Reggio ideas and practices in order to grow deep and dynamic learning and teaching experiences in our own programs.

I co-founded and co-facilitate this group with my excellent colleague Kim Lee Ripley.
